Isla Coiba – Panama’s Best Diving
Coiba National Park is without a doubt Panama’s most exciting dive destination. The sheer quantity and size of marine life from sharks, turtles to huge schools of jack and spadefish is staggering.
Based in the same marine corridor as Galapagos in Ecuador, Malpelo in Colombia and Isla de Cocos in Costa Rica – this is truly a world class diving destination.
Here at Water Baby we are deeply passionate about sharing the best dive and snorkel experiences possible, in fact we travelled most of the world and all the Americas looking for just this, and we chose Coiba!
Not only is this a marine paradise, with monkeys, rare birds, agouti, crocodiles and endemic species only found in Coiba such as the Coiba Spinetail bird and Coiba Island Howler monkey we offer a truly unique experience.
You will feel like you are visiting a real life Jurassic Park
Coiba Day Trips
Enjoy a freshly prepared breakfast of piping hot coffee during our dive briefing at Cabanas Timeout before our dive boat leaves Santa Catalina for Coiba at 8am from the beach directly in front returning approximately 4.30 pm that afternoon.
Travel time to Isla Coiba is approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes where we often see pelagic birds, friendly pods of dolphins and even humpback whales or whalesharks depending on the season.
